Full price list
1-to-1 tuition – KS3: £50 / hr
1-to-1 tuition – GCSE: £60 / hr
1-to-1 tuition – A-level: £70 / hr
1-to-1 tuition – IB: £70 / hr
1-to-1 tuition – Adult learner: £50 / hr
I have some slots available for the academic year 2025/26 starting in September 2025, but you can contact me any time to check if there are still slots available during this academic term.
The majority of my lessons normally take place between 7:30 and 8:30 pm Monday to Thursday, and beetwen 08:00 and 10:00 am Saturdays and Sundays. I am happy to offer lessons either during term time only, or in (most) school holiday periods too.
All tuition is online; I use Gmeet in conjunction with an online IDE, which I use for programming exercises. I am based in Reading, Berkshire, and the majority of my students are fairly local, but your location – as long as you have a reliable Internet connection – is immaterial.
Summary of terms & conditions
The first 1-to-1 lesson is normally offered as a trial on a PAYG basis (paid in advance). After that, lesson fees are due monthly in advance by bank transfer or standing order. For 1-to-1 sessions I require 48 hours’ notice of cancellation (to give me the chance to offer the slot to someone else), otherwise the lesson is chargeable in full. Frequent cancellations may result in your slot being offered to someone else. Of course, if I have to a cancel a lesson then I will either reschedule to a mutually convenient time or not charge for the cancelled lesson.
